Turkish Airlines introduces seat selection fees

Turkish Airlines has introduced seat selection fees on economy class long haul flights. As a part of the new policy - which comes into effect January 1, 2021 - customers will be able to reserve standard seats for a $39 fee up to 24 hours prior to their departure on Turkish Airlines' economy cabin.

For passengers who would like to reserve an emergency exit seat on long-haul flights will have to pay $109 per flight.

 Between 24 hours and the time of departure, seats can be booked as usual at no additional cost during the on-line check-in process.
